Smartest move is to send it to the Uniden Professional technicians and let them to fix it! Never,Ever connect a transmitter (TYT8900) To the input of a Receiver (Uniden BCD996P2)!!!! When the transmitter is keyed (PTT button pressed) it will instantly fry the front end of the receiver.... Just DON'T DO IT!

Can you please tell me if you changed the firmware? I've read that the radio picks up terrible on AM aircraft band unless you upgrade the firmware. I'm very impressed with your radio if it's the standard UC-5K(99). I'm assuming it also receives from 20Mhz-1,000Mhz.

I like the innovative thinking, but it you have a gas stove with a pilot light, and the gas has been cut off, using candles there is a bit dangerous, because the gas pressure might return without notice. In that scenario, it would be better to place the candles on some other flat fireproof surface, and hopefully the grate will have enough clearance to sit above the candles.

What if I wanted to (on dvd player not on pc but for home cinema -as I want only dvds to be able to play ) disable usb port somehow ,could I cut a cable on the inside or something?

I've watched a ton of these candle cooking videos, but this is the first one using the stoves electric coil as a pot holder. Genius. Why are we so SLOW to be creative?

How long does it take to cook? And does a little ridges get red? And how long does it take before you can pull up the metal thingy I forget the name and get the candles out? Do you just blow them out? Do you just leave them in there all the time when there’s no electricity? Thank you!

Thank you so much for this idea, I believe God sent me here so that if the electricity ever goes out permanently or for a while I have a way to cook. I’ve had a lot of anxiety about using camp stoves and stuff like that because I’m visually impaired and fire makes me nervous, even candles make me nervous but with these little ones underneath the pan that would make me feel better and then I could blow them out! This is wonderful thank you so much! Awesome idea!

My good for nothing rotten ass power company shut my power off over them overcharging me so Ben with Electricity for about four days now this video is really helpful..

I love these stoves with the coils. Our new house 5 years ago came with glass top. I don't care for it at all but didn't have the money to buy a new stove. This is genius. I'll share with my parents.

wow, i feel like i should have thought about this when our power was out for three days!!

I did that with candles during a hurricane when we had no power too cook it worked great just took a little long but it did it's job

Use the lid! It will go faster if you cover the pot and preserve more of the heat.
